Crop Protection Pricing: Pricing remains challenged in crop protection. Corteva crop protection pricing was down 4%, FMC pricing was down 7%, BASF was down 2.5%, and Bayer was down 2% mainly on lower prices. UPL was a bright spot on pricing coming in at up ~3% on pricing, though with some lower volumes while others increased volumes.
Executive Leadership Changes:
UPL’s Mike Frank has decided to step down as CEO to relocate to the United States. Jai Shroff will take over as CEO of the UPL Global Crop Protection business.
AGCO’s PTx Trimble is getting another leadership change as Brian Sorbe, who served as President of PTx, has decided to step away. Damon Audia, previously Chief Financial Officer, has been named President of PTx & Corporate Strategy, which encompasses AGCO's precision agriculture business. This is the third change since 2024.
